Some 90 years ago, HEMA opened a revolutionary self-service store in Amsterdam with self-designed products at fixed, round prices. Good quality for everyone - that’s still what HEMA stands for today. HEMA wants to make our customers’ daily lives better and more fun.

HEMA has been a proud sponsor of Team Jumbo-Visma since 1 January 2020. The team fits in perfectly with our own development. Speed skating and cycling are traditional Dutch sports for which the Dutch are famous all over the world.

In our own country, our involvement in the team confirms that HEMA belongs to the Netherlands, such as skating and cycling. Sports for everyone, sponsored by a brand for everyone.

Abroad, our partnership with the team demonstrates that we have just as great international ambitions as the athletes. After all, HEMA is now active all over the world, from Dubai and Mexico to France and Spain. What’s more, HEMA has recently started selling its products via the Jumbo supermarkets.

So we are already business partners and it’s a great opportunity to expand that collaboration with a partnership in Team Jumbo-Visma.
