Wout van Aert has won at Heusden-Zolder for the third year in a row. On the fast...
During the team presentation, Team Visma | Lease a Bike unveiled its cycling kit for the 2024 season. With the new combination of Visma and Lease a Bike as main sponsors, a fresh start is being made, building on everything the team has achieved and established in recent years. This is clearly reflected in the team's outfit, which is still dominated by yellow and black.
The riders of Team Visma | Lease a Bike will continue to be recognisable to fans by their yellow and black colours. The new kit prominently features Visma and Lease a Bike as the new main sponsors. As a founding partner, Jumbo has a unique logo on the back. There is also space for partners Cervélo, Betcity, Sram, Loyalty and clothing sponsor AGU. The shorts are classic black with logos from Visma, Lease a Bike, Betcity, Cervélo and Agu.
"I think it's a really nice kit", Wout van Aert said. "We remain recognisable in the colours we have used for many years. Yellow is the highest achievable in our sport, so I think it's symbolic that it's also the colour of our jersey. The brighter colour also makes us stand out even more. We also have a nice, clean shirt this year. It looks very well made."
"Today we are launching more than just a new kit", a proud CEO Richard Plugge said. "Together with our new title sponsors, we are unveiling a new corporate identity, which is fully reflected in this new kit. It is an identity that stays true to who we are and what we have built up over the years: we are still yellow and black and still use the distinctive hexagon and honeycomb. We embed these elements in the company behind our team. This company used to be called Blanco Pro Cycling but is now called Yellow B. At the same time, we have chosen a brighter shade of yellow, and our new main sponsors, Visma and Lease a Bike, naturally feature in our new logo and team name. We are delighted that Visma and Lease a Bike align with our vision to keep our team colours and support us in our mission to build a legacy."
Plugge continued: "At the heart of the new corporate identity is our new promise: beyond victory. In recent years, we have become one of the best cycling teams in the peloton. But we are not stopping there. As I said, we want to build a legacy for the ages in the years to come. To do that, we have to look beyond just winning and how we get there. We want to make history with our unique way of working and racing. It would be great if this ultimately leads to more people around the world getting on their bikes, whether for sport or transportation."
